A twin bed is the common denominator in the bedding world. Although many people have king and queen sized beds, twin beds are still more practical in many situations. A twin bed is one of the most versatile beds that can be had. It may seem boring at first but once you dig a little deeper you’ll realize that twin beds have a lot to offer. A twin bed frame for example is very easy to find. Larger beds are going to be more expensive and harder to find. It’s always a plus when you can find something easily. Also, as I just mentioned, twin bed frames will be cheaper than something larger, simply because of their size. You’ll also be able to move around a twin bed frame easier than a full sized one.

You can readily purchase twin bedding for your twin bed. This is no problem at all and you can even find twin xl bedding if you want bedding that is extra large. This is basically the same as having full sized sheets on a twin sized bed. Some people like this.

You can make bunk beds out of twin beds too. It’s a much better idea to have a twin over full bunk bed for the simple reason that a full bunk bed would be giant and very hard to move. You’ll still want a full length bunk bed, but in width you really want a twin bed, especially for bunk beds. This is great if you are thinking about getting kids beds. One way to make your kids squeal with joy would be to make them a canopy twin bed. There’s something special about having a canopy over their bed. It’s like a private little world where they can do anything they want and let their imaginations run wild.

The same is true for a twin platform bed, it’s just easier to manage. One thing that I haven’t mentioned yet is making the bed. Have you ever tried making the bed on a king or queen sized bed? Well it’s really hard! You have to reach really far, and if you’re stuck with the bed in a corner it’s even more difficult because you’ll have to be on the bed to make it. Well with a twin bed you can usually reach all the way over the bed without having to be on it and easily get the bed making done in a hurry.
